Global Organic Textile Standard
Global Organic Textile Standard is the leading standard for organic fibers.
Supported by independent certification, GOTS certifies in an arduous and exacting manner, the entire value chain and textile products, intermediate and final, that contain fiber of biological production, produced in an environmentally and socially responsible manner.
OCS
Organic Content Standard
Organic Content Standard applies to any non-food product containing 5% - 100% organic material.
OCS certification makes it possible for transparent verification and assessment of the presence, and quantity, of organic material from a textile product, in addition to the traceability of raw material flow from its origin to the final product.
GRS
Global Recycled Standard
Global Recycled Standard is an international, voluntary, and entirely dedicated to defining the requirements for the third-party certification of recycled material.
GRS validates the recycled product content, both finished and intermediate, as well as verifies the social, environmental, and chemical practices responsible for their production so that their impacts on the environment are minimized.
OEKO-TEX
OEKO-TEX Standard 100
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 is one of the most recognizable labels in the world for textiles tested for harmful substances.
Samofil is certified OEKO-TEX Class I, mainly aimed at infant and children products up to age 3, and has stricter requirements and boundary values; as well as OEKO-TEX II, this class includes products that have a large area in contact with the skin, such as items such as blouses, shirts, underwear, mattresses, etc.
